Plainly PutFamily communication, explained simply

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Plainly Put collects when you read the site, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Reading an article requires no account and no personal details. Our server records the standard request information every web server records: the page requested, the time, the browser's user agent string, and the referring page if there is one.

Why we keep it

Aggregate request data tells us which articles people finish and which they abandon, which is how we decide what to write next. We do not build profiles of individual readers and we do not sell reader data.

Email

If you write to editors@get3words.com, we keep the message so we can answer it and check our record if you write again. Ask us to delete the thread and we will.

Children

This site is written for adults about children. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Your choices

Your browser can refuse cookies and can send a Do Not Track signal; the site works either way. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, write to editors@get3words.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects readers, the revised date at the top of the page changes with it.
